PageSpeed Report 1/2018 (Edition 1)
From a technical standpoint, keeping your Internet pages optimised for Google is not just a question of “install a couple of plugins and job done”. More than ever, the speed that your website loads at plays a weighted role when it comes to being given a favourable evaluation by Google, and, at the end of the day, achieving better positioning. Particularly for for the top 10 positions, PageSpeeds have the highest significance (see http://www.sem-deutschland.de/page-speed-seo-ranking/).
And if that wasn’t enough, Desktop and mobile sites are evaluated separately. At Matoma, we are geared to Google’s own load-speed check, PageSpeed Insights (https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?hl=en). The guidelines are the colour values of the Google tool. Websites delivered by Matoma achieve at least “yellow” classification.
I report on an irregular basis under PageSpeed Report, about the PageSpeed measurements from specific sites from one industry or one area.
