After an intensive phase of conception and development, we are pleased to finally be able to publish our Progressive Web App (PWA) for a German university. This milestone allows us to offer our customers high-quality PWAs.
PWA development process
Our development process for the PWA was based on our proven approach, which relies on intensive collaboration with the customer. First, we carried out an extensive briefing to carefully record all requirements and wishes. This enabled us to gain a comprehensive understanding of the project and create the basis for successful implementation. With our design work and the creation of a click dummy, we were able to give the customer a realistic impression of the PWA at an early stage. By using state-of-the-art design principles and tailored solutions, we were able to ensure that the Progressive Web App meets all of the customer’s requirements and complies with current design standards. Creating the homepage and navigation menu was the heart of our work. Here we turned the customer’s vision into reality and created a user-friendly and attractive interface. Through targeted testing and corrections, we were able to ensure that all functions work smoothly and that the PWA meets the high quality standards that Matoma is known for.

Special feature for alumni network
There is also a special function that offers users of the alumni network additional added value: the digital “Alumni Card”. This feature allows alumni to conveniently identify themselves at events, for example, and to take full advantage of all the benefits of alumni membership. The “Alumni Card” is displayed within the Progressive Web App and is one of the special features. With the successful development of this PWA, we have expanded our know-how and expertise in the field of web development.
